Julio C. Murillo Garcia

Julio is an Associate Attorney of the law firm Weatherby & Associates, PC. Prior to joining the firm Julio was a solo-practitioner assisting individuals, families, and small businesses involving real estate transactions, family law, immigration, criminal defense, and business formation matters. He has a BS in Social Sciences and previously held an education license for secondary education with the State of Connecticut. He received his JD with honors from the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth.  He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Estate and Probate sections of the bar.

While in law school, Julio continued his involvement in education, specifically in the human services field working with at-risk students and non-traditional learners, in both IEP and 504 Plan education settings. In addition, he interned with the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities Legal Division and later worked as a legal assistant/paralegal for a Hartford law firm focused on corporate litigation and bankruptcy proceedings. While in law school, Julio was an Instructional Assistant in the Evidence and Civil Procedure and volunteered as a mock judge in moot court events for professors in trial practice and appellate court events.

Julio is an active volunteer in his community participating in events coordinated by his church and the Manchester Area Conference of Churches.
